Sometimes 8 Zones just isn't enough. Good job that most Avanti models can be expanded to 24 Zones then!

As long as you opt for Avanti ^{LC PLUS}, Avanti^XP or Avanti^{XP PLUS} then expansion is easy.

ZXP is supplied as either a PCB or boxed. There's very little difference in price, so how should you make a decision on whether to go boxed or unboxed?

Well, if your installing Avanti^XP Polycarbonate ES then you'll need to opt for the boxed versions.

All other compatible Avanti models are supplied as a Steel ES so really the choice is yours.

The benefit of ZXP PCB is that it will easily mount inside the Steel ES.

So, when should you opt for the boxed version? Well, it means that you can run cables back to the ZXP instead of all the way to the CPU. Makes life a lot easier.
