Before we tell you about Red4Bed though we'll tell you a little about LCD.
At cascade we've never seen the point of designing a LCD interface if it works like an LED system. Bit neanderthal. If you've seen the future, then you've seen clear, clean & concise LCD.
Avanti LCD RKP's use 32 character display meaning there's no pesky abbreviations! We think that when you design product you need to make everything logical. Which is why when you make a change to the system parameters, Avanti automatically moves you onto the next option.
So, what else? Well here's the really clever bit. Once you enter Engineering Mode there's a Help File built-in. Simply press A to accept and the Help File will guide you through programming. The benefit of the Help File is three-fold: Great when you install Avanti for the first time; exellent for your Service Engineer (where's that manual?!) and is great for the environment as does away with lots of needless paper.
So now a bit about that very special, very clever little extra . . .
You offer the red side of the fob when you want to go to bed. Grey when you want to go away. So, Red4Bed, Grey4Away. Probably too easy really. Takes the drama out of alarms.
Red4Bed is the only truly secure means of setting and unsetting the alarm system and it's a method of setting and unsetting that everyone understands.
