cascade is based in Liverpool and all design & manufacturing is conducted in-house.

cascade keeps prices low by operating very efficiently, maximising Surface Mount Technology and designing cost out during the design stage.

When a new product is specified the brief is to ensure that the product exceeds customers expectations, is low-cost and provides a solution that the market requires. Working with a small team ensures that people are not sat around in meetings all day – they can go ahead and get the job done!

One of the benefits of ensuring that all cascade products are easy to use is that there is not a deluge of Technical Enquiries - which is why we don’t charge calls on a premium rate number. Because our products are easy to use we save money on Technical Support thus keeping our costs down.

Reliability is an essential function of any product. When components are sourced we only use the leading suppliers. cascade products are so reliable we don’t employ anyone to just look after returns – they’d be sat around bored for most of the day!

There is a belief that manufacturing in the UK is expensive compared to China & Eastern Europe. cascade believes in manufacturing in the UK for a number of reasons. We engineer cost out. By the time you put transportation costs on manufacturing off-shore, that option becomes less desirable.

More importantly though we’re committed to ensuring high quality standards. If a problem occurs during the production process then we can halt production immediately. When it’s off-shore, that’s easier said than done. So, we can guarantee that “inferior product” doesn’t sneak out.

Because we engineer the complexity out of products we don’t need to supply reams & reams of instructions. Instead we designed a “Help File” in our LCD’s. This tells the engineer exactly how the system programmes up. Also we only supply a Pocket Guide with each panel with Full Manuals available on request. This allows cascade to produce less waste and is much more environmentally friendly.

Probably the best way to describe the culture of cascade is “Can Do”. Customers consistently praise us on the consistent & efficient support they are given. We don’t believe in our customers having to talk to lots of different people to get an answer!

Our design philosophy is to provide product that is innovative in design, is engineered to the highest level and is positioned in the market to allow installation in domestic & light commercial applications. We don’t believe in “me too” products.

The cascade team is self-motivating and fluid. Everyone is fully trained in their core job but is also able to work in other areas. For example production staff are fully flexible and cellular manufacturing is employed.

The cascade team will exceed your expectations. Sometimes they exceed ours!
